@ Answers.com :Hardy has composed music for countless commercials and TV programs, but his most famous work is “The Homecoming,” a number one Canadian hit in 1975 written for a Salada Tea advert in 1972.
@ It Came from Canada : Towards the end of the ’70’s and into the ’80’s, Hardy performed as part of a small ensemble or as a soloist with symphony orchestras in programs of his best-known film and television scores (including music from Road To Avonlea, Anne of Green Gables and The Silent Sky), and remained an active musician, playing in clubs and recording with a hard-bop sextet until his death on Jan. 1st, 1997.
