@ never enough rhodes : While I’m away, here are some generous donations that came in after the last Romano Mussolini post. Please thank Ish and Arkadin for these!
@ IMDB :In Satanik (1968), The plot itself is fairly goofy — an old, disfigured woman named Dr Bannister kills a scientist for his youth formula. I’m not giving much away because when you see the “old woman” it’s pretty obvious she’s under a layer of thick, badly applied make-up.
@ International Catalogue of Superheroes : Created by Max Bunker. Bunker had created another character similar to this, the male Kriminal. When a rival Italian publisher created a character called Killing (in Italy) / Satanik (in the simultaneously launched French editions), who was clearly based on Kriminal, Bunker’s response was to launch his own Satanik in Italy.
@ Bio And Lyrics : Romano Mussolini (September 26, 1927 - February 3, 2006) was the third and youngest son of Benito Mussolini, fascist dictator of Italy from 1922 to 1943. Romano was never involved in politics, but rather was a well-appreciated jazz pianist, painter, and an unsuccessful film producer.
